Pre-completion
We work with homeowners and professionals to ensure SDLT is fully considered prior to the purchase and the correct amount is paid on completion. We also offer a full written opinion supporting the SDLT return which is particularly important where reliefs have been claimed or a different rate of SDLT has been applied.
Post completion
If your purchase has already gone through we can still help, provided the purchase was less than 4 Years ago we can assist you to correct the SDLT return filed and to claim a refund of overpaid SDLT. The amendment will include a full disclosure claim and you will be protected by our indemnities.
